The Tech Visa program is an accreditation initiative designed to provide Portuguese companies with a streamlined process to hire and retain highly qualified professionals from outside the Schengen area.
Key Requirements for Companies in Portugal
- Be legally registered.
- Have no debts to Social Security and Tax Administration.
- Have no salary arrears.
- Not be classified as a company undergoing restructuring.
- Identify the technical qualification area preferably within the scope of the Tech Visa program, in accordance with the National Qualifications Catalogue.
- For companies incorporated for more than three years, a positive financial result must be evidenced through the IES.
- Engage in the production of goods and services that can be internationalized.
- Obtain a positive evaluation of the application based on the following criteria:
