Key requirements for the sponsoring employee if you are a Non-EU citizen :
Recent regulation changes now allow family members to either accompany the employee to Italy through a family reunification visa and enter the country at the same time (this point is crucial), or to join the employee after they have been legally residing in Italy for at least two years.
Exceptions may apply for children under 18 years old.
The general requirements remain similar to those mentioned above, except for the additional proof of residency required in the latter case.
